Clonez is a utility to copy an object to multiple positions and apply
a random rotation or scale to each clone. This is incredibly handy for
creating natural environements such as flowers, rocks, grass in fact, pretty much
anything.
Scale Direction:
No scaling, enlarge only, reduce only, enlarge and reduce. Fairly straightforward.
Max Scale By:
This is a percentage of the object size to enlarge or reduce by. So 100% doubles
the size of the object, (or makes it really, really tiny). You can supply greater
percentages for larger objects (-200% won't go smaller though)
Rotation Direction:
No rotation, Clockwise, Anticlockwise, Both.
Max X, Y, Z Rotation:
A maximum number of degrees for the object to be rotated on each axis. Note that
if you select 'Both' then it will only go up to half the number of degrees suggested
in each direction. Eg. 90 will allow either 45 clockwise, or 45 anticlockwise.
Use Object Centre, Use Origin:
Determines whether the object is scaled and rotated from its center or the universe
origin. So for example if you wanted each blade of grass to lean over slightly you
would move the base of the blade object to be the origin then only the top would lean
over.
