If you have not tried LWCAD, you're missing out on the fun. LWCAD is the BEST tool I've ever used for creating house, and buildings with-in minutes.

I don't usually add comments or post reviews, but let me say this. If you don't have LWcad, GET IT! I use it's tools constantly on all types of models. It's already a great addition for LW, and version 3 looks like a worthy upgrade.

Great plugin the best for LW :D
I have some new ideas :

Kinife 3d with curves
Drill for zones specific...
Array radial.
Automatic UV for all objects.

Gotta add my support for this fine suite of plugins too.
I use the basic tools for many of my modeling tasks too.
And now that cap hole is included it's an awesome deal.

I don't do much anymore without using at least one of the included tools.
This update adds even more power like the ability to trim curves with curves (among other really cool things).

From Monsters to Machines…
I am currently employed as a CAD designer and designing machines for the automotive industry and finding I am really missing those daily doses of LW3D and Messiah…
I must admit that I am enjoying the precision and ease of CAD modeling but on the other hand I can’t seem to hide the fact that I’m a Lightwaver at heart.
Yes, I for one would surely like to see more of CAD related developments like LWCAD.
P.S. I find that Autodesk’s Inventor 8 isn’t so good for modeling monsters. 8)

I also asked it to NT, but they prefer add to LW a "must have" mosaic mode in viper.
So I'll prefer spend for LWcad, fprime, surpasses and other real-useful plugs instead on another unuseful LW upgrade.
NT want it.

Having "grown-up" in a CAD environment, this may make modler more "compatible" with me! Not to mention the possible applications possible with lightwave to my day job.. :) I'll check back in after I get time to grab it and test it out.. some time later this week..

Looks really nice, all this snapping functions
and speedy improvements. But 279 bucks?
I don't need it for CAD things, I just need it
for everyday-modeling...
Does this make it cheaper?

That's a very cool one. Some things i've been asking for years are finally there. If they put into a DWG importer, it would be even better ;) Sadly, it's only 8.x ..
