i dont think the version matters. It helps if you have only one screen displaying the object. or better yet, set the display to none. This way your graphics card doesnt have to draw each point 4 times over

It seems to have a poly and point count limit in that it will only select from the first 'x' points or polys in an object.
Not too much of a problem though if you cut, paste and then merge parts of your model back in you'll distrubute the point order and the script will work on a greater area of the model.

It works on 7.5[c]. It's a nice script but if you use the cancel button before the operation is finished it crashes modeler.
So don't commit yourself to a large percentage on a big model, go up in one or 2 percent steps.
